RHYTHM AND RITUAL: A MOTIVE FOR DESIGN
In this article they studied the movement of the sun according to the day and season of the year and have expressed that rhythm and ritual are very important to give sense and peception to each space.
For example how we locate the walls or the windows, or some holes in the roof that allow the sun to get in and lights the space and make this space to have different shapes and to produce sensations in the person who lives in that place. In spite of the main importance of nature in the architectural space with all the machines we have put aside the sense of nature and how we can take advantage of it.
They related the rhythm and ritual life of the people with the space they occupied and it`s important to make them linked and this link produces comfort and less stress in the life of the people that will live in that space.
